A 12-minute film. Five international awards. One story about what happens when a hundred people move in exactly the same direction.
Project 101: Ek Sau Ek follows a grassroots farming initiative in rural Uttar Pradesh, where sustainable sugarcane practices didn't just change yields. They changed lives. Green Bamboo Pictures brought its full creative and post-production capability to a story that demanded more than documentation. It demanded you feel it.
The result is a feature-length short that holds two things at once: the precision of agricultural storytelling and the warmth of community voices that refuse to be flattened. Cut for international festival distribution across multiple formats and territories, the film was made with the world in mind from day one.
The world responded. Ek Sau Ek has won Best Documentary at ARFF Amsterdam, Best Indian Short Film and Best Asian Short Film at ROHIP International Film Festival, Best Documentary at Joongang International Film Festival, the RIFF International Film Awards, and Best Short Film at Sittanvasal. Multiple official selections have followed across Asia, Europe, and North America.
Some stories deserve a stage. This one earned several.
