A pre-departure handbook for Indian migrants to the EU. Dense, complex, essential. GBP turned it into something people would actually engage with.

The International Labour Organisation commissioned Green Bamboo Pictures to produce an interactive explainer to accompany a comprehensive pre-departure guide. The brief was simple and demanding in equal measure: make it accessible, make it engaging, and make sure people actually absorb it.

GBP designed and built a gamified, branching-narrative interactive video. Viewers don't watch passively. They move through the content by answering questions and confirming their understanding as the journey unfolds, with pathways shaped by their specific situation. Every decision in the format was made to replace information delivery with active learning.

The result is microlearning that respects the weight of the subject without losing the person inside it.
